Course Information

Each of our courses has a corresponding NIGHT course of fire. Starting with Introduction to Night shooting, we begin utilizing manipulation techniques. Our level 2 courses are focused on foot work, running equipment in darkness, and utilizing the dark as cover. The level 3 courses are centered around reacting to contact under night time conditions without the use of night vision.



Students must attend the corresponding DAY course PRIOR to attending the NIGHT portion of training


Must be lawfully allowed to train with firearms.

  • How to manipulate a gun in darkness
  • Vehicle Ops
  • CQB Drills
  • Team Drills
  • Low-Light/No-Light operations

Our Instructors

A US Army 1st Infantry Division medic, JD served in Operation New Dawn in Iraq (2010-2011) a Medic. After his active duty service, he contracted as a civilian worldwide and continued to provide operational medical support across the Middle East and Africa. In addition, he served with Arizona’s own 1/158th National Guard unit. He taught over 200 Combat Life Saver (CLS) Courses during his time in service and has firsthand experience in combat trauma.

A US Army 82nd Airborne Reconnaissance Infantryman, and Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran (2008-2009), I also spend as much time as possible outside hunting and fishing. Having countless hours training with multiple weapon platforms from crew served weapons to pistols, and having trained military, law enforcement, and civilians. I organized Diamondback Training Center’s teaching methodology following Murphy’s law, and taking equal portions of military, law enforcement, and civilian training environments to give our students the best experience possible.
