Course Information
The Basic Safety is 2-3 hours in length covering multiple safety procedures for both adults and children to follow if they find themselves encountering firearms. After the classroom instruction each student will have the opportunity to demonstrate their firearms safety knowledge in our indoor Olympic Air rifle range.

What this course covers
- Four rules of firearm safety
- What to do when encountering a firearm with/without adult supervision
- Safe firearms handling for multiple different firearm action types
- Parent and child communication techniques when encountering an unsafe environment
- Practical exercise of safe firearms handling techniques
Required Gear:
Pen or pencil for note taking and completing written exam

Having countless hours training with multiple weapon platforms from crew served weapons to pistols, and having trained military, law enforcement, and civilians. A Former US Marine, Roan Grimm has dedicated his life to the study of the grim realities of violent close combat. With 35+ years of martial arts, the past 27 of which have been focused on the weapon intensive Filipino martial arts (arnis/eskrima/kali) and WWII era American combatives (scientific dirty fighting). With over 125 real contact stick fights with the world renown Dog Brothers, Grimm has tested the theories of actual fighting with impact weapons at a level few can approach.
